Inspired by the cool vintage photo booths all over Berlin, and so many rad illustrators live-drawing/ ‘human photobooth’-ing at events and festivals

A custom illustration based on a photo of your face. You’ll be sent the original A6 mixed media piece. Unfortunately, not passport-approved (yet).
How it works
Please send a clear photo of each person’s face. The photo should be clear and include the entire head/hairline. Ideally, the person should be facing the camera face-on.
I can include pets!
After adding to your cart, please fill out the form below OR email me with your reference information so I can get started.
When adding to the cart, please select either ‘single’ or ‘double’ based on the number of heads in the portrait (there can be a maximum of 2 heads in 1 drawing; each pet counts as a head). With family groups, single portraits work really well as they can be framed together and everyone gets their own time to shine! The cost doesn’t change as its by ‘head’.
Please allow 3-4 weeks from sending your reference photo for your picture to be finished and put in the post. If you need it sooner, let me know if you have a specific date you’d like the portrait for (like a birthday or anniversary) and I will do my best to meet your deadline. I cannot control delivery times once I’ve handed your parcel to the mail carrier.

There’s an illustration fee, plus a travel fee. The illustration fee has two options - by head or by hour.
'By hour' is £100 an hour, and I'll aim to get 5-10 people drawn in that time.
'By head' is £10 per person, and I'll dish out a shiny ticket to each person. They can then claim their portrait when at the event, or there's a link on the back for them to send me a selfie for me to draw them within a set timeframe after the event, and post the portrait to them.
You could also opt to do a mix of those options if you’d like. And you don’t have to book for everyone! If you’ve 100 guests, but think only 50 would like to be drawn, I can supply 50 tickets for you to dish out. I’m open to discussing any ideas you have to make the package tailored to whatever you need.
Travel expenses will be based on either mileage or train tickets and in some places may include an overnight stay.

Cost includes having the portrait postcards customised for your event - the reverse of the portraits will have a black&white print of whatever you'd like (eg: A&B's WEDDING 09/01/26 or COMPANY NAME showcase Spring 2027). Cost also includes materials, 2nd class postage (if opting for the ticket option), and doesn't change depending on the event (no 'wedding tax' here!)
All I’ll need supplied is a table and 3-4 chairs.

I aim to draw 1 person every 5-10 minutes. So that’s 5-10 people an hour!

Not really! Couples can fit into the same picture if they wish to, but this won't make the drawing process any quicker as they're still a 'head' each. It’s a squeeze to fit any more than 2 people on the same postcard.

That’s up to you! From experience, 3 hours seems to be a nice minimum, but as long as I don't need to leave for travel by a certain time, and it fits into the day that you're planning, I'm happy to be flexible.
